Are new skincare products supposed to break you out?
I recently started a new skincare routine with good quality products (e.g. Kiehl's, Philosophy, Dermalogica). I've been using the products religiously for the past four days, but it looks like my skin has gotten worse! I'm breaking out, and I'm starting to think that I wasted my money on skincare products that I thought were going to help me! It is my time of the month, however, and over Christmas, I have consumed quite a lot of junk food... could these two factors have anything to do with the current condition of my skin? Is it true that your skin gets worse before it gets better when using new skincare products? How long will it be until I can decide whether or not these products are suitable for my skin, and are working properly? Thanks!

Makeup and skincare products for oily acne prone sensitive skin?
for a primer should i get mac matte gel, mac oil control lotion, mac prep and prime. for setting spray should i get mac fix+, evian mineral facial spray, or urban decay deslick. what are some good pore minimizers i can get from mac or sephora? I have extremely oily skin like extremely oily skin its hormonal and its everywhere not just in my t-zone. Since I have oily skin I have acne prone skin im on aczone, retina-gel, and amoxicilon.And my skin is sensitive and breaks out easily because i have big pores not big gigantic. I am going to get and try macs pro longwear foundation and concealer with msf natural. Please help me im sick of suffering from oily skin my foundation is sliding of and i look like a grease ball within a hour of doing my makeup.

Help with skincare products (clean and clear vs aveeno)?
I want to get new skincare products because I'm running out but I wanna try new ones. as for moisturizer I wanted to try the Clean and Clear morning glow moisturizer. I've heard a lot of good things about it and watched reviews on it. plus its really cheap! but I was also thinking about getting Aveeno Positively Radiant Daily moisturizer but its really expensive for a drugstore product... also, I need to get a new clanser. clean and clear morning glow cleanser (something like that...) vs aveeno positively radiant cleanser. the aveeno is around $8-$9 and the clean and clear is $6-$7. idk which one to get! plz do not recommend other skin care brands and other products and only answer those questions! thanks:)

Any drugstore skincare products I can purchase?
I wear makeup, pretty much everyday. Before I started wearing it, my face hardly ever had pimples/break outs. Like honestly, if I got one, it would be gone the next day. I am definitely not blaming this on my makeup but mainly on how I take care of my skin, which really isnt all that great. In the earlier stages of my makeup wearing days, I didnt really wash my face like I was supposed, didnt take makeup off at night. I'm definitely getting better at that now though. I use an all natural shea butter soap(mom got it from this shop in Savannah,GA not sure the brand or much abought it) now to clean my face every night before bed. Makes my skin soft and cleans well but doesnt do much else. What drugstore product will help with break outs/acne? Also, could you recommend any eye creams? I have dark circles...sometimes puffiness. The reason I say drugstore is because those are cheaper and I don't want to spend too much money. God bless

Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua Foundation Vs Revlon Colorstay Foundation?
I need opinions! Ok so i got my Revlon Colorstay Foundation about a week ago, I absolutely adore it! It gives me full coverage but sometimes it looks cakey and not natural to me. And the most turn off thing is that it's so hard to clean it off my face. I've tried 3 wipes on my face and cleaned it. Then I washed it with my skincare products. But after all of that, my face still looks as if I have the foundation on even though I made sure I had everything off. It's so hard to remove and I've googled many experienced the same thing! That was a major turn off for me. Then i heard about Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua and make up gurus are raving about it. What do you guys think about? Should i switch or remain using Revlon Colorstay Foundation? I have blemishes on my face right now! Thank you!!!! xx

Clinique 3 Step Skincare. Help?
An hour ago, I purchased Clinique 3 step skincare on impulse This ''3 step skincare'' set consists of facial wash, toner/lotion and a moisturizer. I am 17 years old and I have no experience on putting toner and moisturizer on my face. Those who are using Clinique's 3 Step Skincare. Please tell me your views about it. The salesgirl kept pressurizing me on buying and I am a victim so I wanted to make a good use of it. I have questions. 1) When do you put toner and moisturizer on your face? Is it before you go to sleep? Or when you go out? 2) Do you rinse toner and the moisturizer on your face after applying? 3) Do i use this after I remove my make up? I really have no experience! They're really pricey for a girl like me who needs no expensive skincare products! I still do not have a job yet so I wanna make a good use! Please help me! Thank you in advance! By the way, more questions!!! 4) How many times a day/week do I have to put this? 5) Do i apply toner/moisturizer only after I remove my makeup?

How long should you try out a skincare product before moving on to something else?
I've heard everything from 3 days to 2 weeks to 4 months to 6 months before trying something new if the first product didnt work. So whats the true answer? i usually give up a product if i break out from it or it makes my skin uncomfortable. i know some products are supposed to make you breakout first and then it gets better but i find that that takes too long. If a product is good it will work quickly right?

why does my make up do this?
i have dry skin but a very oily T zone. after having my makeup on for a few hours, the oil comes through so it looks really strange and my forehead looks really oily. i dont know what moisturisers or skincare products to use because my cheeks are so dry but my forehead is really spotty. i used mac foundations and tinted moisturisers but they didnt sit well or for long on my skin, so i started using maybelline dream matte mousse and that works better and longer. how can i make my makeup stay on all day without the oil coming through? i dont like to reapply it in the middle of the day with my brushes when my skins oily! and are there any foundations i should try? would foundation primer help? thanks!
