If you're an adventurous photographer and have been to Malaysia to take shots, you'd probably know by now that there are a good number of 'sweet' photography spots around.
Whether your interest is on photographing landscapes (e.g. sparkling clean beaches with awesomely blue skies - Pulau Tioman), cityscapes (e.g. Kuala Lumpur Convention Center (KLCC) from SkyBar), perspective photography (e.g. Putrajaya's bridges are very famous for perspective photography), historical landmarks (e.g. Masjid Selat Melaka or A-Famosa), etc.
In fact, there are so many places for you to consider putting a dramatic image on in Malaysia that we couldn't possibly name you all of them here - Waterfalls, caves, landmarks, cityscapes, religious monuments, hills, forests, etc.
Malaysia's Most Photographed
KLCC is by far one of the probably most photographed buildings in Malaysia - Seeing that it's an iconic building, with awesome surroundings and a good mix of greens around it.

So much for iconic buildings. If you were able to catch the "Eye on Malaysia" gigantic Ferris wheel, you'll probably realize that this could be a nice place to take shots, too.

And back in those days "Visit Malaysia" promotional campaigns, Malaysia was somewhat branded to be an awesome tropical island' that will catch the eyes of many.

Places to photograph in Malaysia

Putrajaya
- Putrajaya is packed with a lot of places to take photographs in KL - And is probably the best place to go if you want a mix of good architecture and nature at the same time.

Teluk Senangin, Perak
- Teluk Senangin, Perak is an awesomely beautiful place to go when it comes to nature. Stay by the chalets, get some sea-front shots of islands around and watch as nature plays its role in your photographs.

Kellies Castle, Perak
- Kellies Castle (or Kelly's Castle) is an old building somewhere near Ipoh, Perak. Its old architecture and gardens around it makes it a landmark to photograph beautiful images. Perfect for your architectural adventures.

The Lakehouse, Cameron Highlands
- The Lakehouse, Cameron Highlands is an excellent depiction of the countrylife in the mountains. Plonked in with the traditional English ambient and lush greens, it makes the perfect spot and area for your photoshoots. You can walk around the area and find a lot of places to shoot, too.

Ulu Chepor Waterfalls, Perak
- Ulu Chepor Waterfalls: How to get there - Exit the Plus Highway at Jelapang and take the road leading to Chemor. Look out for an arch (on the left) that welcomes visitors to Kampung Ulu Chepor.

Jalan Bukit Bintang
- Jalan Bukit Bintang is a good place to take street photography shops - Candid shots, lomograph photography, and so forth. If you're looking to capture live street bands, see different types of fashions, photograph people in the city at its best, Bukit Bintang is the place to go.
